Kwintet House Gets Makeover
Jul 2011
The Altham-based UK headquarters of Europe's largest workwear, PPE and corporate wear uniform supplier has been rebranded following a corporate restructure. A previous winner of the Royal Institute of British Architects award, the newly named Kwintet House has been given an external and internal makeover to represent the expansion of operations from the building, incorporating a completely refreshed global logo for the Kwintet Group.
Multiple brands make up the Kwintet UK and International region, including Simon Jersey which has been based at the state of the art premises since 1990. Simon Jersey's operations will continue from the Syke Side Drive building, as other brands' work across the UK becomes centralised at Kwintet House.
As well as continuing to supply uniforms and corporate wear under the Simon Jersey name, the Altham site will be the UK headquarters for workwear and PPE manufacturer Wenaas and high performance and anti-flame specialists Pionér Fristads Kansas. Renowned chef clothing company Bragard, and promotional garments distributor B&C Collection complete the five brands of Kwintet UK and International.
Charlie Pogson, Head of Marketing and Product at Kwintet UK & International, said: "We are thrilled to be able to signal and make a statement of the restructure on such a striking building. As we move to utilise the combined power of the group, it is important to leverage the collective strength of the individual brands, and now easier to do so under the one roof of the UK headquarters.
Two monoliths now mark the distribution and office entrances, with two large external walls confidently displaying the new Kwintet logo. An extensive brand refresh exercise has taken place across Kwintet's European operations. The inclusion of the green colour in the new branding demonstrates the entire Kwintet Group organisation’s commitment to CSR and environmentally-friendly policies. A team of more than 100 people across the globe monitor and assess factory adherence to independent standards and help ensure continual improvements are made.
The newly conceived logo features a collection of lines which come together to form the word Kwintet below them, signifying the united spirit of the various branches and brands of the company. A strap line 'European leader in professional wear' was added to represent Kwintet's superiority in the marketplace, with a turnover three times larger than the nearest competitor in Europe.
"Continuing the external changes, we are also carrying the branding throughout the building with the use of frosted glass, display boards and wall hangings. We also have a range of mannequins displaying garments from all five of the Kwintet UK and International region's brands," added Pogson.
