School Football Team Awarded Uniform

October 6, 2016

We recently presented pupils from local school, Altham St James CE Primary School with a brand new kit to wear for their upcoming football matches.

We decided to donate the kit to the school, as part of its commitment to working with local community projects.

The pupils have now taken delivery of their specially branded outfits which they can wear during their games. They are in good sporting company wearing their new kit, as you may remember we also supplied Team GB this year for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The 366 athletes were all kitted out with a Simon Jersey suit to wear at formal events as well as wearing our designs in the closing parade of the Olympic Games – complete with famous flashing shoes – which were seen by around a billion people worldwide.

James Saunders, Simon Jersey managing director, said:

“Having worked with Team GB we like to think we know a thing or two about what athletes need. We were really pleased to be able to donate the kits to the children and think they will look really smart heading to their games.”

Headteacher, Carol Woods, added:

“We are very grateful to Simon Jersey for donating such a fantastic kit to the school. They will be very proud to wear the kit at up and coming sport events.”
