HOW TO MEASURE

It is important to measure every member of your staff correctly. That way a fit, as close to 'made to measure' as possible is ensured. The tape should be snug but not tight. Don't worry about allowing inches for movement, all our designs take this into account. For a fot that will stay comfy all day long, always consider sizing before ordering. The correct fit should provide freedom of movement and optimum comfort.

How to Measure Ladies

Bust Measure around the fullest part of your bust and across shoulder blades

Waist Measure across your natural waistline, keeping the tape measure taut and horizontal.  This is usually the narrowest part of your waistline and the point where your body creases when you bend forwards.

Hip Stand with your feet together and measure around your hips at the widest point.  This is usually at the top of your thighs and approximately 20cm below your waist.

Across Back Measure horizontally across your back, placing the tape measure directly underneath your armpits.

Sleeve Length Measure from the tip of your shoulder to your wrist.  Place the tape measure on the outside of your arm, skimming over your elbow.  Bend your arm slightly to allow for ease of movement.  This is particularly important when measuring for suiting.

Top / Dress / Tunic Length Our products state the garment length in the product description.  This measurement is from the base of your neck to the finished hem of the garment.

Skirt Length Our skirts state the garment length in the product description.  This measurement is from your natural waistline to the finished hem of the garment.

Inside Leg We use the inside leg measurement to determine the length of our trousers.  Stand with your feet slightly apart and measure from the inside of your leg (at the crotch) to where you’d like your trouser hem to sit on your shoe.  Alternatively, you could measure the inside leg of a trouser that fits you well.
