As well as helping to make sure Team GB look their best in Rio, Simon Jersey has dressed all of the staff at British House which provides a home away from home throughout the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Located at the historic Parque Lage, British House celebrates the best of London and the UK during Rio 2016, from its sporting excellence to its business and culture. It is a partnership between Team GB, the Mayor of London and The Great Britain Campaign.
It acts as a sanctuary for Team GB athletes to spend time with their friends and families during the Games and is staffed by almost 80 hosts, operational teams, chefs and bar and waiting staff.
Simon Jersey has kitted out everyone, creating a uniform that brings the various job roles together as one team. A stylish colour palette of black, white and grey has been chosen and all of the garments are embroidered with the distinctive British House logo.
James Saunders, managing director of Simon Jersey, said: “We’re the first uniform supplier to provide clothing to Team GB. We were very pleased to extend our partnership to British House and supply their team with their uniforms.
“It gives us the opportunity to further demonstrate the quality of our range and shows that we can unite teams of any type, from hospitality to athletics, and of any shape and size.
“British House has done a great job of creating a home from home for the athletes as well as hosting some fantastic events that show just what Britain has to offer.”
Simon Jersey has provided Team GB with suits to wear at formal events as well as the outfit they will wear in the Closing Ceremony which is set to be watched by a billion people worldwide.
