The front of house, meetings and events departments at Stanley House Hotel, Mellor, have had a makeover from Simon Jersey in keeping with the hotel’s reputation for luxury and quality.
The staff are now wearing a uniform that includes our top of the range navy Qualitas suiting. This is paired with our Prestige 100% cotton shirts and blouses.
The hotel is close to Simon Jersey HQ and host to many of our business guests. Its team chose Qualitas suiting as it not only looks exceptionally smart but it includes a wealth of innovative features. These include a responsive waistband for comfort and Lycra for ease of movement and crease resistance. It also features a Teflon coating for protection against accidental spills.
Uniforms are particularly important in the hospitality industry. That’s because impressing guests with a high-quality image and service is key to developing customer loyalty. In a study, we discovered that a fifth of people would even leave a bigger tip when the person looking after them is smartly dressed.
Looking good has an impact on how people feel at work too. In a separate study we discovered that two thirds of uniform wearers think customers would respect them less if they looked untidy. More than half also think that team morale is higher when everyone looks smart.
