Summer 2018 Blouse Collection

This summer at Simon Jersey we’ve worked hard to expand our work blouse collections with new prints and colours. As the weather gets warmer we know that your staff uniform will be in need of a refresh, and often this can be as simple as adding a new blouse or shirt colour to fit the latest summer fashion trends. We’re going to give you a run down on what’s new at Simon Jersey and how to style our blouses for summer time.

Plain Coloured Slash Neck Blouses

Recently we’ve added four brand new colours to our range of slash neck blouses. This style of work blouse is very popular with healthcare clinics for their administrative staff as the slash neck is a flattering yet professional style that suits most body shapes. As a customer favourite we decided to give you more choices, so the new red, dark grey, purple magenta and violet Simon Jersey blouses have been designed with current summer fashion trends in mind.

Bold reds are frequently seen on catwalks and on the high street throughout summer and it is a staple summer shade that we wanted to translate into your Simon Jersey workwear wardrobe. The red slash neck blouse works perfectly teamed with our black contemporary trousers or black contemporary skirt. For those who want a more toned-down colour we have the dark grey blouse, with a hint of purple undertones. This grey slash neck blouse is more subdued than the red but will still make your staff stand out. This colour will look great paired with any of a grey trousers or skirts.

When it comes to our purple toned blouses, purple magenta is a truly vibrant shade, but when styled correctly it can still look professional. We suggest adding a pair of black trousers and a jacket with your purple magenta blouse as this won’t pull attention away from the blouse and keeps the whole outfit look smart. Violet is gorgeous pastel shade that is really on trend this summer. The violet colour is very versatile and will work with both grey and black suiting items, for an easy summer workwear update.

Print Slash Neck Blouses

As well as the new Simon Jersey summer collection featuring plain coloured blouses, we have also created a new range of printed slash neck blouses. We decided to produce two blossom print blouses for those looking for a feminine pattern to add to their work uniform. The violet blossom slash neck blouse is a more muted look that would work well as part of a clinical uniform and is a print that could be used to establish a staff hierarchy, for example the practice manager could wear this blouse while the other front of house staff could wear plain coloured blouses.

The defining look can be achieved with the beautiful plum blossom slash neck blouse that we also offer as part of our new summer 2018 uniform range. Another way distinguish between teams and departments is to mix and match your prints and colours. For example, dental departments could wear the violet blossom blouse and the violet plain blouse as part of their uniform, while the plum blossom could be worn by the separate team. This will help patients to know which department staff are in whilst in a healthcare environment.

Wearing brighter colours and patterns can often make patients feel more at ease and welcomed. Making a practise feel a bit less clinical can make all the difference to your staff and patients mood, and changing your staff uniform is an easy solution to this. This also applies if you’re looking for blouses as part of your own business wear – what you wear on the outside can affect your mood at work!

All of our blouses require minimal ironing and are made with easy care fabric, that is lightweight enough to keep you cool throughout summer. Discover our complete range of women’s blouses here at Simon Jersey for even more options!
