Heat Transfer

Simon Jersey also specialises in personalised garments using heat transfer printing.

Transfer printing requires designs to be copied onto transfer paper. From there, the paper is again transferred to the garment by way of a heat press. Also known as heat transfer printing, this process works best with smaller, non-bulk orders.

Screen Printing

Simon Jersey offers top-quality screen printing services to help brands personalise their garments.

Screen printing involves the use of fine mesh screens that are etched with the logo or design. The colours and tones are then applied to the garment using one colour at a time. Screen printing is known to soak into the garment. This option works best with non-textured fabrics.

How much does it cost to personalise a garment?

Our personalised workwear is available at truly competitive prices! Shop personalised garments for just £3 per application, plus a £15 first-order setup fee.

What garments are suitable for embroidery?

Our embroidered workwear service is suitable for virtually any garment, including t-shirtspolo shirtshoodies and sweatshirts

Due to its strength and durability, our embroidery designs are even suitable for garments that will be used and washed many times! However, please note that we don’t recommend it for use on lightweight fabrics such as crepe-de-chine or fabrics with a high-lycra content.

Add the perfect finishing touch to team shirts by adding staff names or initials, or represent your brand on the go with personalised fleeces. Our collections have something to suit every team and business!

How does the embroidery process work?

Our embroidered workwear utilises an easy-to-follow process.

To begin the process, simply download our embroidered workwear order form to place a personalised workwear order. Once completed, please send your order form and a PDF of your logo to our customer service team by emailing

What happens after I send in the form?

Once our personalisation team has received and processed your order, you will receive an email that includes a preview of your logo and payment information. Once you have approved your design and payment is received, we will:

  • finalise your order,
  • digitise your logo and;
  • send it to our embroidery team to begin creating the design.

Our embroidery workwear team will then get straight to work to complete your order!

How long does embroidery take?

The embroidered workwear personalisation process can take up to 10 working days, providing payment is made within 48 hours.

Please note that your order will be cancelled if payment is not made within 48 hours.

What happens when I make my payment?

By making payment, you acknowledge that you are happy with the preview of your design, as shown in the link sent to you by email.

Once you have provided payment for your order, no amendments or cancellations can be made.

Do you accept returns on embroidered workwear?

No: Simon Jersey does not accept returns of embroidered workwear orders.

To avoid disappointment, we would advise you to first order plain garments to ensure that you are happy with the fit, sizing and colour. Then and only then should you submit a request to our embroidery team.

Can you add badges to my garments?

We sure can. Just specify a few key options, such as:

  • How many lines of text you want (we can do 1 to 3);
  • Colour of both the badge background and the lettering;
  • Typeface of the lettering (there are loads of options available);
  • The badge finish (choose from standard or clear enamel);
  • The size (all badges are 76mm wide. Height choices include 25mm, 32mm or 38mm).
